Lighting Production Grafana Dashboard

For the first allocation of my second year at Guildhall, I was a lighting programmer (EOS) for Die Fledermaus, one of the large operas in our Silk Street Venue.

The Production Electrician, Dan Basnett, wanted a way to keep track of the various network devices, wireless LED fixtures, and Dimmer Rack information for troubleshooting purposes.

Using tools such as Zabbix, for network monitoring, and my own web-scraping software, for pulling stats and errors from the ETC NET3 dimmer racks, I pulled all this data into a Grafana dashboard which could be displayed in the production office.

This project saved us a lot of time during troubleshooting processes and helped us confirm our wireless practicals would function throughout the performance. (Plus it looks quite cool on a big TV!)
